i am back

I am the crazy tourist for sure. I just got back from North Carolina, and in just over a week I'm heading out to Colorado to visit a friend! Throw in volleyball camp in there somewhere and my summer is a lot busier than normal summer's are. I'm definitely enjoying it though. :)

I wanted to share some pictures from my trip because it was lovely. I went on a 3 hour trail ride with a friend of my aunt's so that was fun. But after not being in the saddle for a year, I am really really really sore. I didn't take my camera on that ride though, so no pictures from that. The next day I went water skiing and tubing. Just about every muscle in my body is aching right now. :P But the lake we went to was gorgeous. I loved it. :)

Here are pictures from my aunt's farm:

I loved this beautiful sunset after a storm. I took it through my window because I didn't want to go outside. :P
I love this driveway. :P

And here are some pictures from the lake (not the best quality, I only had my phone camera):

It was a fun trip but I'm very glad to be home. :)

How is your summer going?

Home. It's definitely my favorite place in the world. I wish I could be there right now.

I'm visiting my cousin and aunt here on their farm in North Carolina, but it's just not the same as being at home. At times like this I'm very very thankful for telephones and computers. If I didn't have my phone or my computer with me, I would be near miserable. I love my family so much and I miss them a whole lot right now.

But let me share some pictures of this lovely farmland I'm staying in. Currently, it's raining heavily outside my window, but I snapped a few pictures earlier today.

I'm just too far from where you are- I wanna come home.

{old train station}

Please forgive the long blogging break- some things came up: finals, company, and vacation. I probably won't be back to regular blogging for a while because I've really enjoyed my break from it. BUT. I really wanted to share some pictures and stories from my trip to the lovely land of Lancaster, PA, but I need to wait till I receive pictures from my friends. I got lazy with my camera and decided to let other people take pictures and just send them to me.

For now, I wanted to share a really neat picture I took of an old train station. We got to go to Ellis Island and Liberty Island on our trip, so this station is right outside the building where we get our ferry ride to both islands. :) I saw the train station and couldn't resist getting a picture. It has such a neat feel to it. Normally I leave pictures in their original state because I don't have time to edit them, but for this picture I though it would look better edited. Which edit do you like best? :)

Happy Summer!
