greetings

Why hello blog friends. I don't know if anyone even reads this place anymore. I've gotten rather busy lately and ignored it for a while. Sorry!

I am in the midst of exam week, with two more exams to go and I'm done! We're leaving for the most fun event of the year in Pennsylvania in a few days and I'm very excited. After talking to my friends online for the whole year, it's really nice to see them in person. It's definitely one of the craziest (but funnest) times of the year. :)

Summer break will be here in a few days, and I'm not quite sure what to do with myself this summer! There's a chance I'll get a job, but I don't know if that's going to happen or not. What I really want to do is read some good books, watch some good movies, and go to the beach.

I read so much during the school year that I don't have much time for extra reading outside of assignments. I need some good book suggestions. I know lots of you like to read, and I really want to read a variety. What do you enjoy reading? I'm serious now. Tell me anything and everything that comes to mind. :D

I also want to watch some good movies this summer. What are your all-time favorites?

And if any of you want to come visit the sunny SC beaches with me, let me know! ;)

Back to studying.

nash healey

I have a few dream cars, but I saw a picture of this one today and it's definitely on my list. :P

I love the whitewall tires, and I believe that a cream colored convertible is very hard to beat. :)

What's your dream car?

When I was little, I always imagined that my 16th birthday would be so cool because turning 16 was cool. As I got older, I really started feeling that there wasn't much special about turning 16 and some people just make a big deal of it. I just figured that it would be just another birthday. My 16th birthday was two days ago. This is the story of my birthday adventure. :)

My parents planned a trip to North Carolina to visit my aunt's farm since we hadn't been there in a while, and they happened to plan it for the weekend of my birthday. I didn't think too much of it, because I love the farm- but it turned out that there was something bigger than a trip to the farm that they had planned.

At the beginning of this week, I knew they were up to something but they wanted to keep it a surprise. All I knew was that we were leaving Friday afternoon and coming back Saturday evening. Friday morning, I woke up unusually early and decided to watch the Royal Wedding. *pause birthday adventure story* Kate is gorgeous. Her dress was beautiful. Prince William looked sharp in his fancy uniform too. They look adorable together. I loved that carriage they rode in. I loved the whole wedding. :)

*resume birthday adventure story* While watching the Royal Wedding, I found out my cousin would be going with us on the surprise trip, which added to my confusion. When we got back from choir, I finished packing and my cousin got there. We loaded up the people and dogs and headed for North Carolina. I opened a few of my presents before we left because we knew I wouldn't have much time on my actual birthday to open them. One of the presents was Tangled, so we watched it with my cousin. :)

When we got there, we ate dinner and stayed up late into the night talking about the Bean Factory. You see, my parents kept saying "don't spill the beans!", and we just decided to pretend that they would be taking me to a Bean Factory where I would have the chance to meet the bean mascot Barry the Bean (and get my picture with him!). I'd also get to ride the conveyor belt, shop in the gift shop and whatever else you can imagine that a bean factory would have.

Saturday morning, we all woke up at 5:30 or 6am to eat breakfast and leave at 7 sharp to drive to the Bean Factory. I had no idea where we were going- and everyone else in the car did. But it was most certainly one of the best surprises I've ever had.
